Experience Raicilla Tours

Raicilla is a traditional agave spirit indigenous to the mountain regions around Puerto Vallarta. The birthplace of this tradition is just an hour south of the city, and there the raicilleros continue to make strong, tasty elixir with some of the most primitive distillation techniques in the world. Raicilla production is extremely small scale and limited to a short winter season. We work closely with several raicilleros to create tour itineraries built around different phases of production—harvest, cooking, crushing, fermentation, and distillation.
